The rich colours of this kiln-fused bowl were created by elevating art glass in the kiln, heating to a temperature of 1600F and then allowing gravity and molten glass to work together to produce gorgeous puddles of reds, oranges and cream. A transparent teal accent stripe makes for a timeless, luxurious look.

The bright smooth texture on the top of the bowl is the heat-exposed side of the glass, and the lovely rough texture on the back is glass making contact with the ceramic mold used to shape it.
